Our soaps are made using the cold process which is a much slower method of soap making that most commercial soap manufacturers don’t use. It takes weeks for our soaps to cure and be ready for use. However quality is most important for us so we take no short cuts when is comes to our products. Glycerin is a naturally occurring by-product of the saponification process. Resulting is a soap like no other in the market!
A quality bar of natural handmade soaps will often sweat in wet season/humid weather. It is actually a sign of a superlative handmade soap . Glycerin and other humectants draw moisture towards them, so on the surface of this soap, this moisture materializes in beads that are slightly greasy feeling. Soap sweating is not an alarming phenomenon, as it is natural for the glycerin to attract moisture from the air. Glycerin is known to be beneficial for the skin. The theory is that when you wash with cold process soap, a thin layer of glycerin is left behind, which will then draw moisture from the air, onto your skin, thus moisturizing it more. Our soaps are full of medicinal properties from the pure essential oils used. They lather well because of the superior quality coconut oil and leave your skin squeaky clean, smooth and supple.
