Farm to Kitchen

During my childhood in the summer holidays i used to visit my grandparents in goa and our fav pasttime was to roast the cashews in the dried grass, know when to remove them before they burn, break the seed and eat them. The smell and taste was divine. Over the period grandparents passed away, house was sold off, we got busy in life and now only memories remain of village life. We still visit goa every year but now nobody wants to do these kinds of things that we used to do. Your cashews brought those memories back. I cudnt stop eating and finished half the dabba in one go.
